Carrots with almond butter

Homemade carrots and almond butter snack ready in 1 min healthy snack rich in monosaturated fat protein vitamin a and vitamin c ready in 1 min

In this healthy snack, we pair baby carrots with almond butter for a perfect round snack. In just about 140 calories, you will get more than 260% of your daily vitamin A. This snack is rich in fiber and good fats essential for your brain. It will keep you full for at least several hours.

In our store, there are nut butter machines that you can get your kinds of butter (almond, peanut, etc) without any add ons. I love this option and actually started including more nut kinds of butter in our daily diets because I know all I get is the nuts turned into butter fresh in front of my eyes with no chemicals, preservatives, salt, etc added.

Ingredients

For this super healthy nutritious snack there are only 2 ingredients needed. Click the Chicory button in the buttons section of our recipe card for more grocery store options. This is what we found on Amazon. When buying the almond butter, look at the ingredients list and ensure there is only one ingredient: almonds.

Keto Diet

This snack could be enjoyed on a Keto diet. Just watch the carbs from the carrots.

Food Safety

We are super excited to follow the food safety guidelines. As part of this initiative, we are writing our recipes with food safety instructions. Especially now, during COVID-19 times, washing your hard vegetables with a vegetable brush and washing hands prior to cooking could save your life.
