My family loves eating apple crisp. I have made many iterations until I perfected the healthy apple crisp recipe for us. We make it without butter, no added sugar, and no all-purpose flour. One time I made too many batches of apple crisp as we had too many apples. As a result, my kids were tired of eating the apple crisp. Then, I looked for creative ways to serve the apple crisp and that is how this recipe was born. We keep healthy milk alternatives in the fridge. That day we happen to have vanilla-flavored sesame milk. So I combined the apple crisp with the sesame milk and it turned out so delicious that the kids wanted more and more of it. Vanilla-Flavored Sesame Milk

For this recipe we used vanilla-flavored sesame milk as that is what we had in the fridge. Feel free to try it with other sesame milk flavors as well. The sesame milk is raw, dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, paleo-friendly milk that is really healthy. It has as much calcium as cow’s milk. This milk has healthy fats and phytosterols. It is also rich in protein, Vitamin E, zinc, magnesium, copper, and iron. Sesame milk is anti-inflammatory, reduces pain and swelling, regulates blood pressure and cholesterol, builds healthy blood, promotes collagen and elastin. It has a smooth texture making this pudding really nice.

  • This pudding is delicious when served cold. You can also add some ice for extra texture, flavor, and coolness!
  • This smoothie is nutritious so you get full pretty quickly. Hence, we make only 1 1/4 cup of it. If you have more people coming you could possibly double the ingredients in the blender. Avoid overfilling the blender and if you need to make more than 2 serving, consider making 2 batches.
